Were you in the school band? I don’t think we had a school band. And even if we had, I wouldn’t have been in it.
Church choir? No. I was in a musical though, produced by a local arts center. It was bad. I was worse.
What is your favourite song right now? Changes about every five seconds but right now, Me Me Me by Lars and the Hands of Light.
Favorite Lyrics? Oh, there are so many… depends on my mood. But I’m generally a fan of first lines in Elbow songs. Like “I’ve been working on a cocktail called Grounds for Divorce”

Favorite Musical (theatre)? The Rocky Horror Show. Hair. Jesus Christ Superstar.
Favorite Musical (movie)? Moulin Rouge. All of the above.
Have you ever belonged to a mail order music club? No. I think I’m a little too young for those.
Do you still have your old tape collection? I still have some tapes, but it’s far from being a collection.
Do you let your friends borrow your music? I share music. In various forms. :)
If you were stranded on a desert island what CD would you take with you? Only one CD? Tough call. I’d probably do it like liberrydwarf and take a full mp3 player with me. With about 50 GB storage.

Community musicals are deliciously bad – I did a few of those in my childhood. My role as “The Queen of Hearts” stands out particularly in my memory, as I remember being very excited that I could be as badly behaved as I wanted to in the name of art…
