    Seriously, made me want to cry. I hate when librarians try to be “cool for the kids”. Just do your jobs and try not to make your colleagues hate you, because the students? They will NEVER think you’re cool no matter what you do…

  2. Librarians are pretty much teachers with slightly more social phobia and know-it-all’s disease.

    (A great number of the “more mature” students in my Library Studies university course were in fact teachers who’d realised they hated kids but liked the idea of sitting around being smart…)
