Plot:
Lata (Shobha Dangle) is a domestic worker for a rich family. Despite the physical proximity, the life of her own family, and in fact her life, couldn’t be more separate from the existence of her employers.

Lata feels almost like a documentary, a calm, yet incisive look at the life of a domestic worker. Lata is caught in an in-between existence, neither here nor there, belonging nowhere. It is a feeling that this short film captures very well. I can only guess, but I think it would make me very uncomfortable if I had a domestic worker to be watching this.
