Yesterday I saw the Chinese circus production of Swan Lake. I really love the music, Tchaikovsky in general and I like ballets and circusses (circi?), so this was the perfect combination for me.

And it really was utterly beautiful. Everything, from stage design over costumes and lights to the show itself took you right away to another world.

And if you think ballet is for wussies, this will change your opinion forever.

They changed the story, though. So noone dies, no sadness but a happy ending. I like the original story better but it was very fitting for this.  

I loved the guys with the gymwheels.
