Cool, huh? “Now you gonna be Gandalf the Red!” RRRRIP! But then he totally helps, because he’s a cyborg and he doesn’t give a s#&% about the ring — it has no power over him! And he can carry it AND Frodo AND Sam AND f@%& up some orcs while he’s doing it. This stuff just comes to me. I mean it. (I will also offer $10,000 for the Lord of the Rings franchise).

so sehr mit sam rockwell gefallen hat (gerade der verfall war echt großartig dargestellt)- den oscar sollte er trotzdem nicht dafür bekommen. den oscar hat christoph waltz verdient..
Hmmm… ich hätte Christoph Waltz eindeutig in die Nebendarsteller-Kategorie getan und insofern keine Überschneidung mit Sam Rockwell gesehen…
oh. ohh. echt? aber waltz führt doch im grunde durch den ganzen film.. oder? wer könnte sonst hauptdarsteller sein? brühl? pitt? fassbender?
Ich weiß nicht, ich seh in dem Film einfach keinen wirklichen Hauptdarsteller – es sind alles Nebendarsteller.
Aber vielleicht ist das auch nur ein feiger Cop-out von mir. :)
oh und ich bin total enttäuscht von jake gyllenhaal. prince of persia? ernsthaft? was soll das denn :(
Ja, mir erscheint das auch ein bisschen out of character für JG… Andererseits wird der Film sicher (unfreiwillig) komisch…
Der Film wird super!!! Jeder Film, der mir JG mit dem Oberkörper zeigt hat mich schon von vorn herein überzeugt.
Ich freu mich schon total…Prince of Persia und Legion…es wird ein großes Jahr für schlechtes Kino ^_^

Aber ich muss jetzt etwas fast blasphemisches sagen: Ich bin normalerweise voll für nackigen JG, aber in PoP ist er mir schon _zu_ durchtrainiert.
Also, ich find seine Schultern zu schmal.
Trotzdem sicher ein netter Film. Ich mag solche Filme: Schnelle Handlung, kurze Dialoge und schöne Menschen. Achja, und kein unnötiger intellektueller Ballast.

eine freundin von mir, julia, hat seit neuestem einen freund, der, ohne scheiss, fast wie jake gyllenhaal aussieht. nur ein bisschen weniger bubig im gesicht, vll weils ein bisschen länger ist. egal. ich nenn ihn nur jake =)

That Kunzru piece was maybe the first good piece on Austria (and what Haneke is on about) in a British paper that I’ve seen. Why am I not surprised it’s from the Guardian?
Just one small thing: Don’t diss the skiing!!! (And I say this as the person who can’t climb stairs today because the weather sucks and she went skiing 13 years ago.)
