[Trigger Warning]

Plot:
The Impalers are a motorcycle gang as bad as they come. But after raping and murdering a group of nuns, they lose even the support of their fellow-bikers. After a shoot-out at a bar, where the Impalers kill everyone, they make their escape to a remote cabin, taking the family living there as hostages. What seems as an easy continuation of their blood spree at first, turns a little more complicated when they find that the family is hiding a secret in the basement.

Dear God No! did not work at all for me. Apart from disgusting, this movie was just disgusting.

I’m a horror fan. That unfortunately means having to put up with a certain amount of gratuitous tits and naked ladies – but this film just topped everything in that regard.

And while I’m not a huge exploitation movie buff, I can appreciate them. I’m even willing and able to suspend my feminist conscience for them (like with Father’s Day). But that willingness only goes so far. And Dear God No! crossed that line so far that I don’t even have words for it. But just as a hint: If you have to have rapes in your film, at least have the decency to not constantly insert titillating imagery into them as well. Some things just really aren’t necessary.

Apart from that the film just didn’t make any sense whatsoever and the ickiness of it all did not keep it from getting boring.

I really can’t think of anything positive to say about the film. Apart from the first scene, maybe, with the nuns that was rather funny in a very dark and macabre way.

Summarising: Dear God No! should not only be it’s title, but also your reaction when confronted with the film.
